Prevent Vignetting with the Low Rider Ring

Vignetting commonly appears on most lens models when shooting at focal lengths of 15mm using a filter and an adapter ring. However, some customers have experienced vignetting at uncommon focal lengths with specific lenses from various manufacturers.
To address and reduce vignetting on these affected lenses, we created the Maven Low Rider Ring.

Features of the Maven Low Rider Ring

First and foremost, the Maven Low Rider Ring features a slim profile to minimize the distance between the lens and the filter. This innovative design helps prevent vignetting, especially when shooting at very wide focal lengths.
Additionally, you can use the Low Rider Ring instead of the regular adapter ring. Its sleek design keeps the filter close to the lens, reducing the risk of darkened corners in your photos and videos.

• Slim Profile: Minimizes the distance between the lens and filter to prevent vignetting.
• Ideal for Wide Focal Lengths: Perfect for use with wide-angle lenses to ensure clear, evenly lit images.
• Magnetic Strength: The Low Rider Ring has about half the magnetic strength of our regular adapter ring, yet it is still strong enough to securely hold one filter in place.

Limitations:

• Reduced Magnetic Strength: Is about 1/2 the magnetic strength of our regular Adapter Ring.
• Only Use One Filter: Because of the reduced magnetic strength it can only hold one filter at a time safely.

Sony Lenses:
•16-35mm @ 16mm
•24-70 GM V2 @ 24mm

Canon Lenses:
•16-35 EF 2.8 @ 16mm

Tamron Lenses:
•24-70 for Nikon

The Low Rider Ring is recommended only if you are experiencing vignetting at an unusual focal length. After you have finished taking your shots with the Low Rider Ring, we suggest switching back to the regular adapter ring to reduce the risk of your filters being accidentally knocked off.
